Thriving Anywhere—Lessons from Between the Sidewalk Cracks
What the weeds of the world can teach us about being ourselves.
Some of the best plants I know, are the ones people overlook. They are “weeds” to the uninitiated. But to me they are marvelous.
They are often underestimated, tenacious as sh*t, and carry the most potent medicine.

They grow wherever they can get a foothold.
They don’t get caught up in pretense.
They shine their joyful little lights out into the world, even if nobody notices. And they are great food for bees.

Show up.
Be yourself.
Love what you have to offer.
Grow in the direction that works for you.

So let’s channel some of that dandelion energy into our own lives — shining our light, if for no other reason, than because it is ours.
