Place Your Hands On Us
A channeled poem for difficult times. A reminder nature wants you to hear.
Inspired, on a difficult day, while listening to the plants.
Lean on us when things feel bleak.
Do not believe that you are alone.
For you never are
and were never meant to be.
—
We exist beneath your feet,
alongside your houses,
next to your cars.
—
Ever present blades of grass,
trees of no renown
all the flowers still waiting under ground.
We are listening.
—
Simply place your hands upon us,
let your worries rest among us.
We can carry this load too,
right along with you.
—
We may seem silent
but we are always talking.
We whisper “keep on going”
“Stay the path”
Or, sometimes, “not that way”.
—
You can hear us in your heartbeat,
as fresh air fills your lungs,
when your volume is turned to none.
—
We remind you are golden.
Worthy.
And loved.

Sharing helps small publications thrive.
Support isn’t always monetary. One of the best ways to support undiscovered writers is to share their work with others. It’s how small voices get louder.
If these words moved you, passing them along helps me reach readers who might need them too. Thank you for being part of this.

What a beautiful grounding piece Kristen! It just immediately calmed me down! Thank you!
Thank you. Off to touch grass now so I can feel the love! 💗
